A Non- Place
‘Migration’

For this project I have created a series of
abstract silkscreen prints entitled ‘ Migration’.
I have investigated movement,
animal and human tracks and the journey from an uninhabitable place to a place
of sanctuary.
My basis for making a Pentych is because the number five resonates energy ,transition, travel and change.

Photography from October break' Trip to Edam'
In the October break we (my family and I) were lucky enough to visit Edam , which is a town just north of Amsterdam in the Netherlands.There were lots of beautiful canals there and with the Autumnal scenery I managed to get some good shots.

Sketch book work for 'A Non-Place'

For my 'Non-place' theme I will be looking at 'Migration'
in people and animals and their journey from an uninhabitable place or' no-mans land'to a place of habitat or safety.
looking again at Abstraction.
I wanted my work to emulate the idea of travel or a journey, so I am looking at emulating movement through line and concept through shape .,,
